We had a great stay at the hodge podge lake lodge. We had a rain day and were able to enjoy the town of lakeville that was a very short drive away. The rest of the time we soaked up the sun on the lake. The view from the front porch may be the best on the lake. Well worth the money and a beautiful stay.

Family of five with 3 generations had a great stay. There is something to do for everyone. The location is great to go to Niagara Falls and Rochester. Kids enjoyed camp fire with s’mores too.

Shaun’s place was terrific! All the Pics showed the place precisely. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items you’d need to cook a nice family meal, linens were fresh and clean and check in was a breeze with the helpful instructions Shaun sent prior. I highly recommend this place to people that want to get away and enjoy the beautiful lake just steps away from the beautiful covered front porch! Thanks again Shaun, you were a top notch host! I Hope you will have me back in the future!

The lake house is very charming and the host was quick to respond with help and advice for the property at any time. The driveway has ample parking and the house has great common areas for gathering as a family/group. We visited early in the season so we didn't get to enjoy the lake, but the outdoor space down by the lake is very nice with a picnic table, outdoor chairs, and a fire pit. There is also a patio in the back of the house and a front porch that is great for lounging as well. The road that the property is on (that you have to cross to get to the lake) is not very busy and did not detract from the property like I had expected. The kitchen was reasonably well equip for an Airbnb having most of the cooking supplies you would expect. Consider packing your own cooking tools if you are particular about what you cook with or if there is a specific cooking tool you really value having. We ran into some challenges with the property that the host was quick to resolve

What a great location! The home had a quirky Boho feel to it, which we loved! We absolutely loved the view! Neighbors were nice!

We had a wonderful visit to the Hodge Porte Lodge and would definitely come back. Beautiful views of the lake from the sitting porch, living room and main bedroom. A lot of fun lakeside on the little pier with my young boys. We have twin toddlers and they had baby gates on the stairs for peace of mind and toys for the boys to play with, as well as a high chair for family dinners around the good sized dining table. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Thank you Shaun! We hope to visit again soon!

We had stayed at this house previously so we knew that we would enjoy our week. The only reason the lication got a rating of 4 was the hill that the house is on. Although it wasn't an issue for us, some may find it difficult to go up and down a lot. The house was great. It is described perfectly in the listing. It has old house character and looking at the interior, you'll find many unique things that give it that. The kitchen was well equipped. The linens were clean. Shaun was a great host and responded within minutes, if not sooner, to any questions we had. I'd recommend this house.

We had such a wonderful stay! Very very clean and charming house with the most amazing view. Lots of amenities that made for light packing. Lots of restaurants and stores within short driving distance. Highly recommend!
