We greatly enjoyed our stay at Shaun’s place! The lake was lovely and we caught so many fish. My daughter caught her first fish which made a great memory! The beds and blankets were comfy and the home was easily accessible for my husband that has some mobility limitations.

We stayed in this home for the weekend and the girls loved to hangout by the water whether it was on the dock or just enjoying the back yard. The sunroom out the rear of the home was a place I found myself reading a book as the sun would set behind the mountains. It was truly a beautiful weekend.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful and accommodating. We enjoyed being able to walk to the marina or local brewery for a drink and quick bite the night we arrived. The yard has plenty of space for our children to run freely and enjoy being at the lake. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels for each of us during out stay. The kitchen was loaded with utensil and the pots/pans were in good condition also. The only downside was there was a lot of seaweed around the dock so our kids weren't comfortable playing in the water. There was a local beach area near by that we took the kids to swim instead.

We loved our stay in this little jewel of a cottage. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and the layout let us hang out together or separately, inside or outside! We felt like we were visiting a friend’s house, with all the comforts of home! We would definitely book again, when in the area.

This was the second year that we stayed a week. The size was perfect for 5-6 people, and we really appreciated being able to bring our dog. It is nice that there is a flat lawn and a dock since we rented a pontoon boat from the marina. We had one rainy day, so we took a ride to Naples and Grimes Glen. Be sure to stop in at the Wizard of Clay while you are there since it is a few miles away. This place is clean and updated!

Our family of 4 plus our dog had a lovely week at the Honeoye Haven in early August. It's a very easy space for a family to spread out and spend time in. It's very quiet, the furniture and beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and overall the house is incredibly clean. The sunroom on the back of the house was such a treat - beautiful on both sunny and rainy days. We spent a lot of time on the water and appreciated having a dock to launch our paddle boards and kayaks from. This is definitely a house and location we would enjoy returning to next year!

We had a great week at this cottage. Everything is updated and clean and very well stocked with all the cooking utensils and items you need to make meals. The beds are comfortable and the outside area is spacious with nice grass and a fire pit. We rented a pontoon boat from the marina which is just a few houses down. There is a large table for eating and playing games. There are a lot of things to do nearby for rainy days. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Honeoye Haven! The location is perfect as it is walking distance to a great brewery and the marina where you can rent kayaks, paddle boards, etc. You also have a perfect location for relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets. We fished off the dock and enjoyed the fire pit and chairs outside. Would definitely stay there again!

This was the 2nd year we stayed at this house, and 3rd time we rented from Shaun. Great little house right on the lake. We were able to get on our paddle boards right from the dock. Honeoye is a beautiful lake and not over busy or commercialized. The house has a large yard that our dogs enjoyed. The dogs also paddle board. Our kids (16, 21, 21) enjoy the yard and patio too. We highly recommend this house and lake.

The home was very nice and so clean when we arrived. Suzie was so kind to let us know that the home was ready earlier and we were able to check in. Shaun was very prompt and his communication was very timely with check in and check out instructions. The home had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of 5. The view of the lake is beautiful. Shaun also has local recommendation which was really helpful. We skied at Bristol Mountain and enjoyed the Birds nest craft brewery in the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

My family and I stayed the Labor Day weekend. We had a great stay! Everything was perfect! We had plenty of space for everyone! The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Plenty of linens. Clear instructions for access and departure. The yard and view was absolutely beautiful!! It was a well deserved peaceful getaway for all of us!! We all said we would love to return!!

Another great stay at the lake house! House and sunsets were great. Only downside was to watch out for algae blooms in the water (happens on Honeyoe Lake). We just swam in the middle of the lake as a precaution. Will likely stay again!

Great house, great location. This is a great house if you have dogs & teenagers. The house is nicely updated inside. We stayed in another of Shaun's houses at Honeoye last year and moved to this house for the added bedroom. We loved this house as well. The yard abutting the lake is wonderful. We will definitely stay in this house again.

Beautiful property with stunning views. Enjoyed the king sized bed in the master, lovely fireplace in the living room, and large farm house table in the dining room, perfect for the whole family. Highly recommend this updated cottage on the lake. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood with mountain and lake scenery. Host was extremely accommodating and always responsed rapidly to our requests. I would love to visit again during warm weather!

Honeoye Haven was a perfect spot for a family getaway to celebrate the last few weeks of summer! The water view is absolutely beautiful, the sunsets are incredible & we especially enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the lake in the evening! Our family loved that the Twisted Rail Brewery & marina (where we rented a boat for the day) were walking distance from the house. The house is spotless and has everything you could need & more! Shaun was extremely helpful, communicative & accommodating! We hope to come back to Honeoye Haven next season!

Honeoye Haven is a great place to relax, unwind, and unplug. Sitting next to the firepit right by the lake washes away all of your daily stresses. Was a nice slice of Heaven. A beautiful property, very well maintained. Will definitely try to get back here next year.

Property descriptions and photos very accurate. Bedroom space and storage was great, plenty of linens, towels and paper/cleaning products, washer/ dryer was a real plus, great yard and firepit, short walk to the marina, pet friendly and a great view of the lake and sunsets.
