Lake Therapy on Conesus Lake

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The home is very spacious, very nicely updated, exceptionally clean and in a beautiful location. We enjoyed having extra space especially in the main living areas; the larger dining table and extra large couch accommodated our family very well. The views from the front porch, the dock area and the backyard were unbelievably peaceful and relaxing. It was our first visit to the Finger Lakes region and we loved it, and we particularly enjoyed the quiet of Conesus Lake. We appreciated Shaun’s quick responsiveness to any questions we had.

We had a great week. The house was clean and spacious. Lots to do around the area. Great dock space. House has everything we needed. Will definitely look at staying here again.

The house was very nice, clean, the outdoors were quiet we were visited everyday and night by a Mama deer and her babies came right next door and ate apples off the ground. My son was unloading his vehicle that was parked in the driveway and the Mama was right next to him. There were bald eagles flying through the sky in the evening too. The only thing that went wrong was the central air downstairs did not work, but the owner went and bought two floor models for us to use for the week and he had repairmen come to fix it but they could not. But we made it through and had a good time with family anyway. Would stay again at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The lake view and sounds from the front porch were so relaxing. The house suited our family perfectly, with a ground-floor suite for our great-grandmother, a large kitchen, and plenty of space for the kids. Everything was clean, and Shaun was extremely responsive to any questions. We would happily stay here again.

Shaun’s lakeside cottage was the perfect house to host us for a family wedding. The location is right at the heart of Conesus Lake and a quick drive to everything you’d want to do. Morning coffee on the lake and on the back patio felt like being at a picture-perfect, restorative retreat.

This place is a hidden Gem! From the beautiful lake views from the front of this spacious home to the farm like setting of the backyard, where the spacious deck is, yard blends into the a grassy field and a view of the corn field, we saw so much wildlife! Deer, rabbits, a bald eagle shows up multiple times a day! It's nest up on the top right edge of tree line. I was in Heaven! This is right up our families alley! We were here for our Son's graduation from RIT which was a lovely 30 min backroad drive or you can take the highway which was close by. We wanted to be on outskirts of Rochester and not deal with the hustle and bustle of the city. There was plenty of nice family owned restaurants, breakfast places, pizza places, BBQ around, no long waits and reasonably priced! Shaun gave us some great recommendations! Rooms were all spacious, clean and cozy. Big living room which easily accommodated all 6 of us. Clean updated bathrooms. Shaun thought of everything you would need!
