Seneca Lake Wine Trail Farmhouse, Lake Views

It is a great location. You could walk and bike to a lot of different wineries and Watkins Glen was only 10 minutes. The house is more spacious than the pictured seem. There are 3 living rooms so our big party of 8 adults had room to do their own thing. Highly recommend

The purpose of this trip was to hike with our four dogs and visit the area, wineries and distilleries. There were more than enough comfortable individual spaces for each of us. This was a fantastic central location for us to use as a base while traveling around to see all the sights. This was a lovely and comfortable home and had everything we needed. Highly recommend a stay here!

Our family of eight truly enjoyed our stay at this property! The home was spacious, clean, and charming. It is clearly evident that the owners have put a lot of hard work into renovating the entire interior. They managed to maintain the character of the home while also modernizing it for today's travelers. The beds were comfortable and the portable air-conditioning units cooled the rooms well. All of the bedrooms were equipped with fire extinguishers and rescue ladders. The home is set close to the road, and the traffic was a bit noisy at night, but each of the bedrooms had a bedside noise machine which did help. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. There were plenty of board games and puzzles for family fun. The back deck with grill and seating, fenced-in backyard, and firepit area allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. The home did not have a view of the lake. That was not our primary reason for renting, so we were not disappointed, but if you are looking for a lake view, you won't get one. The communication with the host was quick and easy. We did have an issue with one smoke detector dying (it scared the children, but everyone recovered), one toilet clogging (a plunger in at least one of the bathrooms would be helpful), and slipping in the primary bathroom shower (a textured shower basin or shower mat would help). All in all, the property exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend it and stay there again!

This is a historic home, lovingly restored. Some of the details of the original structure of the farm house can transport you right back into the 1800s. It has its quirks and its character - its unique floors, the modifications as it confidently strides across centuries while preserving its heritage, giving you en-suite washrooms in almost every bedroom and individual AC units alongside the fascinating windows. Very close to major wineries and Watkins glen. Shaun is a great host - super responsive. The home is thoughtfully furnished with everything one might need, from kitchen utensils to board games and books. We were a group of 9 cousins with a pet, and were very comfortable for our long weekend stay here.

The Seneca Lake Farmhouse was very clean and had plenty of room. There seemed to be everything we might need. We didn't do any cooking, so I don't know about the cooking implements or pans. The location was great for visiting the area and wineries.

A beautifully refurbished old farm house. Perfect for our family reunion. Right on NY 14 so easy to drive to all the local attractions.

We had a wonderful stay! The house had so much old-world charm and character while still being comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short drive to Watkins Glen and several great wineries. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
