It was great little place to stay on the water. Funky and sweet. Small but good for two. We enjoyed sitting on the dock drinking our coffee in the morning. Clean space and lots of towels for showers and dunks in the lake. Wish we had time for a paddle.- Jessica S , Posted: 7/20/2026
Right on the lake! Just so peaceful you can look out over the lake while you enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the edge of the dock. The lake was beautiful and clean great for swimming great for kayaking. Happy to find the Boat House available on short notice for a quick visit with our son's family. With it's convenient location, we've wanted to stay before and it's always been booked. This little lakefront boathouse was exactly what we needed for our stay on Conesus Lake. Cozy, well-kept, and perfectly located with an incredible view right on the water. The dock, fire pit, grill, and all the extra touches made it easy to relax and enjoy the lake life. One of the hidden gems nearby is the general store — fantastic breakfast and hands down some of the best fresh apple cider donuts we’ve ever had. You’re also just a short drive to a couple great restaurants and close to Geneseo, which made it a perfect home base.
